The Business Women's Network (BWN) was established in the early '90's to provide an opportunity for women in business to network and promote their business in a friendly educational environment.

Each breakfast meeting is held on the first Wednesday of every month, commencing at 7am at different venues throughout the Southern Highlands, with a guest who speaks for 40 minutes addressing a quarterly theme which is usually business related. At each meeting a BWN member also has the opportunity to do a brief 5 minute presentation outlining their business.

Memberships start from $40.00 per annum. Membership entitles members to be listed in a directory, are able to promote their businesses and have breakfast at a reduced cost while enjoying stimulating speakers.

The BWN is a non-profit organization conducted by a committee of volunteers who put many hours into developing themes, sourcing speakers, planning and booking venues and menus, creating and sending invitations, advertising and encouraging new memberships, collecting and managing finances and countless other invisible tasks. New committee members are always welcome to join and make a contribution. We also encourage any member to share ideas for new speakers or events that the club could hold, or thoughts for ways to improve the club. The club belongs to the members!

Each month, 2 weeks prior to the next meeting, invitations incorporating speakers, themes and venues are sent out by email. RSVP and payment for each breakfast may be completed via post or direct transfer. Members may also pay for the next breakfast ahead of time at each breakfast meeting.

To ensure the breakfasts run smoothly the committee appreciates RSVPs returned on time, and punctual arrival at each breakfast allows for less disruption for the speakers and venues.
